tuition:
- This entails personalised tuition and guidance on the software of your choosing. Taught at your own pace and in layman's terms.
- Software covered can include:
Enhanced use of e-mail and Internet browsing.
Guidance on creating an online business or online social networking.
Skilful use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing and graphics/photo editing software
programmes.
I am proficient in the majority of today's leading software programmes and am able to help you minimise the time you have to spend on your computer - be it for personal use or for business purposes - by teaching you shortcuts and how to maximise the quality of your productivity.
Website design and maintenance:
- Production of personal or business website. This can include: design, layout, logo, banners, images and research material. I liaise with my client every step of the way to ensure that the website portrays the image and content that is asked for.
I am a specialist in WordPress, B2Evolution and CMS design.
Problem-solving desktop or notebook:
I became a self-employed Computer Consultant in the UK in 2000, and have had - to date - 100% success rate in solving all computer-related problems.
- If your computer is showing the dreaded 'blue screen' when you switch it on, or other error messages crop up … I can repair it for a set one-off fee regardless of the time spent in doing so. Please note that should your computer require a new part this will be charged separately by an independent hardware company.
PC and laptop maintenance:
- If your computer is running too slow for your liking, or undecipherable messages keep popping up… I can speed things up and restore it to function more competently. I will also ensure that it is free from any virus, spyware, trojan and adware which can severely disrupt your computer after a period of prolonged time.

Prices for Business Services

Computer and software packages
tuition: 15 Euros per hour, 8 Euros per 30 minutes.

Website design and
maintenance: 90 Euros for design and implementation (depending on
size i.e. number of pages, etc.). 60 Euros per half-yearly period or
100 Euros per year for regular maintenance and updates as necessary and/or
requested. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) extra.

Problem-solving
desktop or notebook: 50 Euros per session irrespective of time
required. Additional services such as backing up personal files,
and/or reinstalling software programmes where original disks are not
provided (e.g. AVG Antivirus Free, Adobe Acrobat, Flash Player,
etc.) will be charged for separately.

PC and
laptop maintenance: 50 Euros per session. An annual contract
consisting of 4 quarterly sessions, including telephone and/or
e-mail support in between sessions, 140 Euros.

Desktop
publishing: depending on time required and quantity. This service
includes design, layout, recommendations and proofs. Flyers, menus, business cards, etc. all catered for.

Speed-typing and proof-reading
services: 7.50 Euros per hour.

Translations:
10 Euros per hour. Languages translated are - to and from - English,
Spanish, German and Italian.
